Step through the gates of Abbeystowe and journey through the ages at the Abbey History Festival — and while you're exploring history, why not taste a little of it too?

Iron Hills Meadery will be joining the festival across two incredible days, serving free tastings and offering bottles of our handcrafted meads to take home. Made from honey and steeped in thousands of years of history, mead feels right at home amongst the living-history encampments, traditional crafts, music, performances and stories of centuries past.

And there are two ways to find us! Visit the Iron Hills Meadery stall to explore our range, chat all things mead and discover your favourite, or head to the Stag Inn where selected Iron Hills meads will be available to enjoy while you soak up the festival atmosphere.

From Ancient Rome and the Nordic Realm to Regency elegance, Japanese traditions and the stories of the 20th century, the Abbey History Festival brings together an extraordinary collection of eras, cultures and experiences for the whole family.
